arriving in huntington beach this day week May 25th, we want to book a hostel or hotel before we arrive, we have no accommodation sorted yet. Hoping to book a place where we can meet other j1ers to get a house, anyone know a hostel where the Irish go first when they arrive?? Cheap place aswell!
howard johnson hotel on beach boulevard is quite cheap. you can get four in each room as there are two big beds. it's the cheapest place to stay as far as i remember and its within walking distance of some of the apartment complexes where j1ers stay. also you can get the bus from just outside the hotel to the beach and downtown as it's a bit far to walk
Are most people just staying in hotel/hostel for first day or 2? The Howard johnson looks good. Were also heading over the 25th..might see ye on the plane!!

Hey Orla. One of my house mates has been to HB twice so he sorted it. We had to send off application forms to get the place. It's Regency Palms Apartments. Theres other apartments there full of Irish and it's two blocks from Huntington Villas.

hey, there's 6 of us here in Huntington Beach since yesterday! we're staying in the Shore Break hotel, right on the beach, really cheap, $120 a night. We're finding it really hard to find accom, they all want 1 year or 6 month leases. Anyone found anything yet??
