we arrived in San Fran on Sunday 23rd and spent 2 full days looking out in Berkeley for a frat to stay in. We heard you just go door to door to find places to stay out there and we thought because we were arriving so early that we would have no problem getting in.
Not a single Frat had space. So it's a bit of a crisis. I know lots of you had planned on staying in Berkely but I'm telling you now - we've called to EACH about three times, sent numerous emails and rang every house manager we can get a number for - either all the rooms are booked out, or they just arent taking Irish this year.
I'm just wondering what everyone who was planning on staying at Berkeley is now planning to do. Still going to stay here? Get a Co-op or just rent a house near the frats? Or stay in the city? We really dont know what to do at this stage!
