I have been looking for months and months now for a job unsuccessfully and don't know what else to do. Desperately seeking a job preferably in the Fullerton/Anaheim/Orange County area of CA. I have done a J1 before and went to Hilton Head Island however I am being extremely specific in location this time as I am wanting to move to be with my boyfriend who has secured an 18month traineeship in Fullerton. I would like to work in the Front Office of a hotel in a supervisory type role however at this point I am open to any similar jobs in hotels. I also wouldn't mind doing some kind of Event planning, and I am willing to travel. Is there anyone out there who can help me??!!
Also as I said I previously did a J1 and I have been back around 13months I've seen lots of conflicting information some saying I can get another J1 and some saying I can't because I have to have been back 2years from my finishing date of my last J1, can anyone tell me what the stipulations are and how I can get back to the states?! I think I heard also it depends whether you did a J1 Internship visa or J1 Traineeship visa? But if someone could inform me about this I'd be grateful.
Hey, I cant help you with the job (i was in cali for the summer and couldnt get a job anywhere), but maybe i can help with the J1 stuff: The J1 visa is a student kinda thing so if your not in college anymore its not for you, apply for the ordinary visa. The J1 internship/traineeship thingy (i looked into it a while ago myself) you can get that so long as you apply within 12 months of graduating And im 100% sure you can get another J1 for every summer while your in college, you dont have to be back for any amount of time.
