   I was thinking about it too...but I heard its really expensive so it kinda put me off the idea so now im thinking along the lines of Boston!

   think we pretty much decided on Hawaii for Summer 2011, still looking for more advice and info on it though, which island is best, we thinking of wakikiki, oahu? heard job prostects arent great but there has to be some work out there?

   yeah ya gotta go waikiki its the best place for party, and clubs. north shore is the only other main spot but its kinda better if you just take a few trips up there. We didnt but ya can live in UH thats ment to be good craic to .

   cool sounds good!! what about jobs and accom in waikiki? not all of us will be 21 are they strict on id or does there be a lot of parties and stuff?

   i wasn't 21 but i got a fake id, yeah there are realy strict in clubs and bars and the irish bars no if your id is fake so be care full with dat, there is party its just deppends on who is there when your there. we you arrive stay at the waikiki beach side hostal you will make loads of friends in there. Jobs there is a big shopping centre call ala moana bout 10mins from waikiki we all got work there but start looking the day you arrive.

    I'd love Hawaii but I heard it's very strict for ID. Are there many house parties/ beach parties and where are they? I'm not 21 til the end of summer. I was in IV, CA last summer and it's all house parties, had no problem with age, though a few did get fines up to 500 dollars. But it was mostly for drinking in public and then getting IDed. So ya, just wondering if it's as bad as they say there. And where are the most jobs? Surely there's a lot of tourism jobs there? Any help is appreciated.

    Me and 3 friends going Oahu I think this summer either there or Maui. I was on Maui last summer everyone got jobs it was unreal but not nightlife was a bit slow. House parties were good just need a group going. Any idea where people are going?
