A few months ago I had a J1 research scholar visa with a 2-year residency requirement to start research in a US institution. For personal reasons i didn't manage to go to the US, so the program was terminated early. Is it possible to get a new J1 visa now or i have to wait for the 2 year residency requirement to be fulfilled.
If anyone knows something about it, i would be grateful if you could inform me
