Hey 5 of us are heading over to montauk on the 26th of may and are finding it hard to get accomodation any one know where to get easy accomodation or wanting to share to keep costs down

It's always handy to ring the Montauk Chamber of Commerce: 001 631 668 2428 there is a bulletin board there that lists summer accommodation.
Other possible places that might take on students: The Lido Motel - The Albatross Hotel -
If you ring the Tipperary and ask for Eddie Kenney - he might say that they're not taking on students this summer, but he says that every year. Try pushing him a little, and he could give you a break or a deal.
I'd say Ann Breyers is probably full at this point.
New bars and restaurants in Montauk: "Nick's" has been re-named "The Sloppy Tuna" - there's also the "Cross Eyed Clam" in docks. Heard they're crankin' on a Wednesday night.
Safest and funnest mode of transportation: "Moko Taxi", the big orange cabs - ( 631 668 7070 ) - Owned by a Dublin guy - Safest, most trustworthy drivers.
Again, ring the Chamber of Commerce - they might give you an idea of what's out there. It's a lot easier to figure this stuff out once you're there.
