Everyone seems ta be heading to huntington this year! We taut we would try newport, suppose to be easier to get jobs and the nightlife is top class... Many of ye heading??

hey, a group of us thinking of heading to HB for the summer, just wondering if anyone knows the story with flights i.e where do we fly to, how much is it usually (everywhere is giving us totally different prices) and would it be easier to fly to LA and drive down to HB? Any info on the area would be great as well..thanks :)
hey pittsnoodles...u fly into LAX, were from donegal, so we need to travel down to dublin. we booked with USIT, they did flights and all for us, were flying with british airways..u shud get flights sorted asap, cos they are just gonna get dearer as time passes. were going dublin airport - london heathrow - LAX. flights cost us about 400e then with taxes added on which is like 300e, came to about 700e for the flights!
havent been to newport beach...but every one is stayin in huntington beach, so all the parties will be there id say...and newport is only 10 mins down the road, so u can go down there like anytime....and people go out down there all the time.
yeah which is why u gotta get out early! like late may...and start lookin straight away for jobs..u will get accom no problem, its the jobs...and theres other places u can get jobs aswell...costa mesa is only down the road aswell
ya it'll be late May anyway!! cant decide so just gonna book for LAX and if it needs 2 be changed theres 1 flight change anyway!! Definitely Cali anyway! :) :) u were askin bout weather... apparently not great in june..then it gets roasting for july and aug!

We've been lookin into jobs an accommodation an frm wat we seen it's way easier to get jobs, bars an sum of d resorts r suppose Ta be great fr a job... Acc looks ok in price if sharing :) how many of ye goin?? Oh an plus d nightlife is way better in Newport
yeah i have to agree with saaj89 on the night life front, i heard newport night life is much better and if ur under 21 they are meant to be less strict aswell! so il be for newport most nights! haha
saaj89.......Have looked into accommodation....Huntington seems cheaper?? theres 2 of us going but gonna try and find housemates! Newport and Huntington are only 10 mins apart or something so I doubt it makes much odds?! Where were u looking for jobs? craigslist was it?
