Hey..just wondering is there many people heading to Long Beach or Atlantic Beach area NY for the Summer...or anybody have previous experiences of being there? Any contributions really appreciated :)

Hey sorry haven't looked at this in ages..we are headin' over next week the 25th :) majority of us in college in Limerick aswell, we just hope there is loads of J1ers out there...accommodation can be expensive...up to 10,000 for the whole summer coz we are so near New York but if ya share with loads it should work out okay!! What area have people looked?? Few of us have gotten potential jobs in beach clubs lined up!
hey, me and a friend are over here in long beach since the 23rd May. we got jobs sorted straight away, but the accommodation is hard to find and the motels are dear to stay in. we are looking at getting a 3 bedroom at the mo but need to have other ones to share with to take down the rent. anyone interested give us a shout on 516-943-1460 or 516-943-1461.

we got jobs in a bar/restaurant on Island park, but it not opening until nxt week! wer living on brighton road on island park too, had to pay a big deposit and the landlord says we cant move in anymore, but it a good spot! wer uz living and working? we havnt seen any irish about the place yet!
