hello there, me and my mates did san diego last summer and had the best time ever. we're applying for the j1 again this year but we want to try some where new and different, if any one has any tips or suggestions or recommendations or what ever they'd be greatly appreciated!! we're put off by san fran cause there's no beach and montauk cause its so small....

no prob susan me and my sister worked for this t-shirt shop called del sol..they have shops in old town(an old mexican village/restuarant/tourist spot) and in sea port village(a tourist village downtown) we got the job totally by accident wen we met one of their former employees in the liquor store an she gav us their no lol the owner laurie loves irish ppl an even asked us to recommend ppl who are headin over this yr so u could try ther. we ended up partyin all summer wit the staf in del sol they wer all crazy an lovin drinkin wit the irish like most americans ur best bet is to pick up the san diego reader wen u get there, they hav huge lists of available jobs and accomidation or go to sea world...they employ half of ireland!!! jobs in san d are no problem its gettin accomidation that will take u all ur time an effort if u can try an sort out accomidation befor u leave it wil save u a lot of stress even if u just hav a list of numbers for places to call wen u get there ull be a step a head of the crowd and trust me theres gonna b a huge crowd lookin to rent in san d this summer check craigslist san diego and san diego reader online a week or so befor u leave hope it helps
i dunno wer we are goin dave..its all up in the air at the mo!! im pushin for montauk cuz its some wer completly new an you can make so much more money ther than san d.iv also got accom an a job already organised for montauk which is deadly. the dubs ar doin exams at the mo so we havnt dicussed it yet..the corks ar goin to huntington or santa cruz which would be deadly but i dont like goin to the same place twice esp for an entire summer.we'll end up havin a reunion in vegas or some thing...hopefully haha.wat ar your summer plans??
Well Claire, I heard huntington beach is supposed to be the hottest spot in america this year and I hear there is a gorgeous lookin crowd from cork thinkin of goin there....know anything about this?
