hey me and my 3 friends (girls)are still really confused about where to go, i reckon itl be california!maybe santa barbara or san diego?im also interested in Berkley but my friends want the beach!also dont want it to be just Irish, want americans aswell!where is everyone else going does anyone wana give some advice?!have u sorted out accomadation yet?anyone interested in sharing?
Hey there. Well 3 of us are heading to Chicago for the summer. Its meant to be class...hopefully the place wont be invaded by the irish as much as the east and west coasts.! have a great summer!

I have done New York and San Diego and I would sell my grandmothers ankle to go back there. If you have a choice, trust me, San Diego is the place to be.

Long live ocean beach...wat a place!!! any one considering san diego check out the j1 experience jab on the top of this page an scroll down..thats me an my mates on sunset cliffs in ocean beach san diego..we lived literally 10 houses down from the beach an had the best summer ever!!! if ur doin west coast san d is the only way to go..stay in OBI hostel in ocean beach an ur in for a mad summer...dont rent a gaf off mike pinzini tho he's a robbin little shit

hey claire*, if ur lookin for people to share with trust me stay in the OBI hostel in ocean beach!! you will meet so many people lookin to share accom with...if u take a look at the j1 experience page of this site thers a pic of loadsa people on ocean beach, thats me and my sis an all our mates from last yr in san d. we knew nobody goin to san d befor we left ireland an ended up movin in with 16 lads from cork that we met in OBI hahaha..stay in banana bungalows in PB or the international hostel...rent is really expensive in san d but we ended up wit more than 30 poeple between two 3 bed houses and paid about 80dollars each a week id say thats the average rent over ther..hope this helps
