Hey Aoife. Me and 2-5 other girls (20-21) were thinking of heading to the same place and I was looking up apartments there too. When my friend was in chicago they got their rent for a 3 bedroom apartment for 470e each for the 3 months cause 15 of them were sharing. That's nearly the way to go! Its $1500-$2000 a month for a 2 bed apartment in Huntington. Reading the 2009 forum the breakers, huntington vista and huntington villas are the places to stay but they look so posh and expensive!

Hey Kt xxx my friend was there last year and said that accommodation is pricey so ur best to share with others if u can. Alot of the Irish J1ers stay tog in apartment blocks such as the Ocean Breeze apartments. She said that jobs are handy enough to get if ur out there around the start of June. Me and my boyfriend and maybe 5 other friends are heading over this summer so hopefully there will be plenty of jobs :)

they look unreal...not that expensive either if ya share with a fair few people.I've heard a lot of places don't do short term leases though which could be a serious pain in the ass!!

how do u get accommodation in huntington villas or ocean breeze apartments cos they dont do short term leases? and iv seen a few people have got places there
