Hey! ye we're going to Chicago aswel this summer. there's going to be about 10 of us (6-7 lads nd 2-3 girls) haha, because theres so much of us we are going to see if wee can rent a house or something. but supposedly Wriggleyville is the best spot for accomodation. just a help really! do you know anything about jobs in Chicago, like are they hard to come by? were going the exact same time as you too
Ha wow, that's a big group! Ye we were thinking along the lines of a house too.. seems the most affordable option! I dont know much about Jobs to be honest! Our plan is to get over there early and hope for the best! Ha!

Wrigleyville is the place to be in Chicago, from what ive heard from a friend of mine who has a friend living over there. itll be full of students next summer. theres apparently more available work in chicago compared to other places. places like navy pier and other tourist places will always be looking for people. i know someone who got a job working at the zoo. theres about 15 of us going so were going to need a few places to stay.
Hey. I was in chicago on a j1 last summer and it was fantastic! thinking of doing it again this year as I could maybe get my old job back straight away. I finish erasmus early in April so would be looking to go the earliest date possible which is the 20th of May. Not sure yet but might b heading out alone. Anyone interested in sharing its cathrionaspage@hotmail.com.We stayed in Wrigleyville last year which I would definitely recommend as it is where the cubs stadium is, all the irish bars and just a few doors down from us was the gay district which was alot of fun but among the locals it is known as one of the most expensive areas. If there are enough sharing though it's not bad rent wise.
