You can live in Brooklyn, Queens are certain parts of Harlem and have no problem getting to Wall St for work. I had an hour and a half commute to and from work last year, but It didnt bother me too much because I was always swithcing buses, subways, shuttles or walking. West Brooklyn is as close as youll get to Wall St. and is only a few stop away on the Subway. Places like Astoria in Queens are a few stops from Time Square, and then get a downtown train to Wall St. Downtown Manhattan (Where Wall St. is) is a particularly expensive part of Manhattan.
