Rainbow court has apparently closed down and its the Beverly Motel. Its €100 deposit each and €75 a week for 4 ppl sharing. Myself and two other girls are going so i think its €100 a week each then for three?
Thanks for the information. I checked the website and it looks like they are double beds? Might not be so suitable for 5 lads! Ill have to do some more research.
Hi... For all of you thinking of Myrtle Beach Summer 2012.. I am currently looking into the possibility of opening a 100% Irish dedicated budget accommodation centre for J-1 Students. I have had first hand exp in the late 90,s as a student. I also witnessed the same difficulties Irish students have, during a spell in Myrtle Beach last summer. Deposits not being returned, Horrendous conditions, high rent and landlords who take advantage. This often puts a bad taste on the place for students when they leave. I am also hoping to put together a comprehensive guide to the Myrtle Beach, incl, jobs info, cost of living, transport, social scene etc..All I can say is that I had 2 great summers as a student and the place had the same buzz when i returned last year. 50 miles of beach...what can i say... send me a mail for more info.. conorkeane@hotmail.com
howiiye lads, it's going to be unreal craic.. i was onto beverly motel could be decent but going to try get a house. that sounds too good to be true Conor! fair play lad if your serious!
From what I understand most of the Irish stayed in Beverley last year but it got a bad rep, trouble with uncleanliness as well as getting deposits back. We are considering it as an option though. We may also look into getting a house but a motel seems most likely.
Still plenty room in Myrtle Beach for this summer... Any info needed on jobs, accommadation or just to find out more on the place in general send me a mail to conorkeane@hotmail.com...
