Aw thats fairly shit alright, i'd say it will be hard enough to get a job before going out. I've only applied for a few jobs so far. Yeah we're looking for people to share with too, i emailed a good few frat houses around MIT, 1 emailed back saying you've to be a student there to stay there. I just seen around some forums that frat houses around MIT are good to stay in so its just trying to find them now!!
I just found out tday 1 of the grls aint going now so at the mo its just 3 but that could change very quickly coz one of the girls still hasent applied for a new passport were defo up for living in a big house with loads of people or whatever where are u from???? wat date ye flying out
Aw no way!! will they not lose out on a load of money if they drop out now? :O Yeah be hopefully way cheaper living with a load of people too! We're both from Wexford..and we're flying out the 5th of June but we're gonna try n change it to go out the like 25th or 26th of May..What about yerselves??

About five or six fellas/girls heading to Boston from the Louth/Armagh area. I don't know the other two fellas going but I think they have jobs sorted out, not sure where tho. I applied for one there recently and I should find out next week sometime if I got it. Heading out at the end of May as soon as exams are over I think. Cambridge, parts of Somerville, Brighton and Brookline seem to be the best places to live but we have nothing sorted yet. Would be looking to share with a few people to keep rent down, nothing too extreme though. Will check back in here when I know more. What sort of jobs are you applyin for and what websites?
We've no jobs yet, i've only applied for a few so far. I've only looked on the usit website for jobs. I'll apply for any sort of job. I've really only been lookin for somewhere to stay, I've heard frat houses around MIT are meant to be good so i've emailed a few of them but heard nothing back yet, Theta Delta Chi is meant to be good craic! Yeah defo want to share with people too. Have you looked at any places to live so far?
i no a couple of people who went last year and they said brighton and southie are supposed be good places to live. they set up a facebook group and added people they new goin and they added others and posted it on j1 forum aswell so tat there was jsu a big group on facebook tat nyone cud post info and stuff and find people to share accom with. we should do sumin like tat maybe?
I was lookin on craigslist and seen good few places but der only 2-3 bedrooms at the most and still extremely dear...cambridge, sommerville n brighton are the cheapest 1 girl emailed me back and her place is in cambridge she said its fairly handy to get to downtown boston from there....but defo looking for people to share with...defo 8 at a minimum ya wud need ta get a reasonable price to rent.......any1 hear bout anyjobs yet
