hey just wonderin how hard it will be to drink in san diego..is it going to be any good for an U21 to be over there or are you best going somewhere else to try and drink..i hear its mainly houseparties but will the U21s miss much out on many nights out??? havin done the j1 before i realise the importance of drink... please dont tell me wel have jus as good a time without it cos thats bullshit..
Honestly, you will not get server ANYWHERE in San Diego without a passport. If you use someone else's passport, they WILL catch you. They examine your face with a torch EVERYWHERE. They will take your (Or your mates) passport off you. Doormen get $10 for every fake ID they confiscate there.
There are always parties. Always. You will have a good time without going to bars. But you will miss it and you are going to miss out on some FANTASTIC clubs with some FANTASTIC ladies. (On Broadway and Belo are amazing clubs downtown).
When you see half your mates going out clubbing and you stuck at a houseparty with the 18 year olds, you'll feel the pain. If your big into your clubs and pubs, I wouldn't reccomend San Diego if you are under 21. I was over 21 so....
Surley this is what tijuana is for?Whenever you are going house parties/Beach get someone to buy your drink and whenever you want to go clubbing then go tijuana,Are the off licenses/supermarkets hard to get served aswell?
supposedly tijuana is means queuein for customs for two hours either side of the night club...would that be worth it??? and how often would you go down there???
Hey, i was in huntington last summer but went to Tj once....it was absolutely crazy!! there was no queue on the way over in fact, it's not really a border, it's more like a bridge and loads of steps!! you pay $13 in to the club and drink all you want....by the time you are heading home you wont give a shit about queues!! i cant even remember that part of the night/morning!! It's class, i'm def going to hit it again this summer!
Yup. TJ is class. It's filty dirty but worth it for the banter. $15 for fellas in. All you can drink. ALL night. (Except bottled water). Place shuts at 5 bells and the journey home on the trolley is one of the best parts of the night.
We went EVERY Wednesday night for the whole summer. But more than that is too much.
Off licenses are almost as strict as clubs for ID but there is not problem someone over 21 going in and getting drink for 30 people. I've done it!
