Alrite guys, Going to san diego this summer and I know theres been topics about this before, but I've heard from a lot of people that Ocean Beach is the place to be but I've read a lot of good stuff about Pacific and Mission and have heard that's where all the american students go. So if anyone's been before, what do you think?Or anyone who's going this year, where you going?
It depends what you're looking for. OB is a surfer town and is WAAAYYYY more laid back. PB is much bigger and more difficult to get around. By that, I mean people live much further apart.
In OB, everyone lives within walking distance of each other. In OB you can have fires on the beach.
PB has more pubs/clubs. "PB Bar and Grill" is great and we often ventured from OB just for that.
In PB, the police are ALWAYS on the beach at night. avoiding the police will be a big pain in your ass. You'll see. OB there are "Private" beaches that the police cannot get to.
You're welcome,but I think you might want to wait and see when you get there. If you can get a place in OB BEFORE you get there, consider yourself VERY lucky indeed and grab it with both hands. You will most certainly have NO trouble filling the house to the brim.
