hey just wondering if anyone knows what santa barbara was like this summer? thinking of going ther but all the info i can find is from people who went 2 or 3 years ago. i heard that people left santa b for san diego cuz of no jobs accommodation etc.....
Hey. was in Santa B last summer... was totally unreal... you should go without a doubt. i didnt know anyone who couldnt get a job if they wanted 1 just when you get there call round everywhere with your resume n they will ring u... definetely stay in Isla Vista, the college town just outside SB n dont listen 2 anyone saying to live in SB town. the best part of SB is the college house parties and they go on in Isla Vista being in town would get really boring. most people live in IV but work in the city u can get a bus in that takes under half hour perfectly regular...go onto craigslist.com and look for summer sublets in IV...most oi the accom doesnt become available until June 16th around cos thats when college breaks up so u might av 2 stay in hostel r motel till then... if u go 2 SB ul av the best summer ever....
hey orlaby!! jus wondering if your still considering heading to SB, beacause myself and a couple of friends wana head to isla vista, n hopefully stay in del playa, where all the house partys seem to be...... Have you had any luck finding accomodation, or would you consider sharing with us???
ul find in practically impossible to get a sublet on DP cos thats where everyone wants to live n the American students get it first but if u get a place anywhere in IV ul be near DP si it doesnt matter u just head down there at nite
