Ya, ABC is good, book early to be sure of a place it is always booked out long before the summer starts. Jim and Alexa (owners) both have their moments but are pretty sound overall. The Tipp Inn is another option if you want to stay in the docks. The rooms are smaller and it costs more, but it nearly always has availability plus it has a pool. The old owner guy in the Tipp is a total psycho too (his name escapes me) but his brother John (who is around less) is a nice guy, try and deal with him if you can. Uhlines (also in the docks) seemed ok but i only saw the place once or twice. Then in the Village you have Montauk Motel (girls only) plus some other motels that seem to be stricter. In between the Docks and the Village you have Lakeside and Ruschmyers (worst option in my opinion). Every i knew who stayed in Lakeside liked the place, so maybe that would be a good idea too.....
hey,me and a group of friends are heading to montauk and from what ive heard them cottages are great craic..my friends went last summer and they said everyone knows everyone around there and you all either go to the pool in the tipp inn or go to the beach..she didnt work at all just had the craic and got in debt at home!!when are you all headin over?think were goin june 1st

hi.. me and 5 of the girls hitting montauk for the summer, not too worried about jobs yet but wanna get accomadation sorted, ideally we'd love a house or cottge just to have the craic in say rather than say montauk motel( all girls), if anyone has a house lined up and looking to cut the cost by takinin a few more...get bback to me!

Hi myself and my friend are planning on heading over to montauk for the summer and are finding it a bit tricky to find accomadation that is suitable for just having the laugh and making the most of what montauk has to offer. Whats the deal with the Ann Breyers cottages is it just a Hostel or is it actual appartments??
