   Anyone heading to New York or done a J1 there before alone? I'm thinking of going this summer by myself. Any info appreciated on jobs, accomodation, meeting people etc

   Ive done the J1 in Santa Barbara before so looking for something a bit different. Ive been to ny before just not on a j1. Hoping to actually bring home some money at the end this time!

   Did the J1 alone.. you have absolutely NOTHING to worry about. I had the best summer of my life. You'll meet more people than you can shake a stick at.
