J1 Froum: where to stay in santa Barbara for the summer??
hey a few of my friends and i are planning to stay in isla vista in santa barbara! But dunno wheither to stay in a house, or to get an apartment?? where to get them?? there is 7 of us too, so would a 2 bedroom, be ok?? or would the land lord etc leave that many of us stay in a 2 br?? if ya have any advice twould be greatly appreciated cause we dunno wat to do?! sound!!!!
Hi, I spent last summer in SB...UNREAL.... well with IV ur subletting apartments or houses-whichever u can get, from the students....Accomadation in IV can be tough to get at first but u will def get something everyone does... the best thing to do is to go on craigslist.com and look for summer sublets in IV(its a lil bit confusing at first when u go onto craigslist so id prob google craigslist isla vista, but maybe just me being blond lol), send emails off to abs everyone cos not everyone will reply... sublets often dont come available till June 16th or so cos thats when college finishes so most people stay in SB city till then( el prado inn really good) but my friends and i were really lucky got a sublet for June 1st... other people just got accom when they got there and ud see groups in IV going from place to place looking so we felt so lucky to have got somewhere... i def would pretend there is only a few of u... accom usually nice and loads of floor space for spare people but i would def not say how many of u there are accom is really expensive but if u pile people in will be very cheap... hope i was a help
i'll be there on may 14th, it's gonna be quite "tough" cause i haven't arranged housing yet but we'll see. it's an expensive area, i hope i don't have to leave the place because of that.
Hey just wondering if saliph found any place to stay, me and 2other girls arrived in SB yday and we have no where to stay this weekend, would really appreciate if if we could stay with ya if ya did find accomadation!! Thanks!!
