hey, im goin over to new york with 4 other lads for the summer 2008, just wondering what the craic is over there durin da summer for irish students? has anyone spent the summer there before, what you think of it? whats the story with beaches/weather etc?? do all irish students stay in the one area or is it massive? sorry for piling on all the questions but wud love to know cos dont hava clue what to expect!!!

hey conor,woodside ment to be a grt spot,im in woodlawn,but its ben tough gettin job and accomadation,maybe ive no luck,decided to hit for montauk,bout 3hrs from penn station on train,pure irish and has the beach.if u;s cant handle the city heat(it gets vry hot)and tings dnt wrk out,u's can share a place in montauk with us,theres 4of us but the more people,the cheaper,as montauks expensive,best of luck wen u get over.NY is the best city!!!!
yea sounds good!! how are ye gettin so far? jus finishin my t.p over here in england so headn over to new york nxt week, we're headn for montauk as well.. its just me n another lad.we've gota couple mates over in nyc but they stayn in da city so me n my mate plan on gettin sumwher to stay out in montauk. how are ya fixed with accomadation?
