hey j, from what ive heard the place is pretty safe, especially around mission and pacific beach! for accomodation try craigslist.org, as for jobs i dunno but im goin to ring seaworld tonight and see what they have to say cos apparently they'll hire anyone!
rang seaworld yesterday, turns out you have to apply in person! but i might just wait til i get there, but we dont arrive until June 30th! i know thats pretty late so im hoping we can get jobs before we go! how many of yez are "piling in?"
That is so awkward means you cant be organised with a job going over?.My parents wont stop going on about how there will be absolutely no jobs so annoying!!There are just 2 of us going over and we havnt a hope of affording any if the accomadation online. so hopefully we can get something and meet people there that will be up for house/apartment sharing.
are you just going to hop in a hostel for a few days til u find sumtin? we pretty much have our accom sorted(wer gona be payin bout $1500 each for 4ppl for the 3mths,in a 2bed apt), but there are some cheap 1bedroom and studio apartments on craigslist.org, just when your looking for accom in san diego on the site, just make sure you type in pacific beach into the search bar cos it narrows down the options but there are some great deals! hope that helps!
were not goin til June 30th, cos we have to do 5weeks work placement with college after our exams in May! its shit but its sumtin we have to do cos we get marked on it! let me know how u get on with the search for accom!
dont go san diego its ribbish, over ran with irish(its not good trust me), there is a smell of wuff of da place as well, stay in san francisco because its unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!

absolutely! still gotta work tho! unfortunately gotta pass my exams first, which start 2mo actually, so am in the library in college now, attempting to study! Keep tryin with the accom, its better to be sorted before u go, but the plus side of a hostel means u can meet other ppl there who might want to share a place!
if you jus type accommodation sharing in San Diego into google then you'll find more results other than craigslist!

is there 2/3 peoples looking to share a place over there cause we found a condo to rent from 10th june til 21st august in a sweet location.. its on the beach in mission bay, the address is 3764 bayside lane if anyone wants 2 check it out on google earth or anything like that!.. the rent works out at $1921 (€1450) each between 4 people for the whole thing..were going 2 stay in banana bungalow wen we get there 1st cause were arriving a bit before the 10th so if anyone else is the same they could do that too! my email is ailish88@hotmail.com if anybodys interested in sharing the condo!
