Hi there. Me and three girls from Dublin are heading to new york for the summer. We have a house in Queens (Vacation rental) all booked, but we're looking for 2 more people (Fellas or Girls) to go in on it with us. You will be sharing a room with your partner. Rent will be $1000 a month between the two of you.

Hey there! turns out im going with two of my friends now as well. I've been looking on craigslist.com at a few places, just to see whats out there, chances are we'll just wait till we get over there and meet a few people in the hostel that are in the same situation and find somewhere with them. I wouldn't worry too much about accomodation yet anyway
Hi aine! My friend and I are flying to NY on the 12th June till late September on the J1. We are both kerry girls aged 22. We are interested in the house available? Not sure if we can afford $500 a month EACH so we'll have to get bac to u. Is that normally considered cheapish 4 rent in NY?

My advice to anyone looking for accommodation in ny is to try www.craigslist.com. Its great, found mine there for this summer (unless it falls through which it wont hopefully)
Heading to the Queens area of New York on Tue 6th with a mate, his girlfriend and possibly another girl. Looking to share accomm. Possibly 2 singles and a double. Might be just as easy to wait and see when we arrive?

hey linda. accom in montauk is very rare...the anne bryers apts rents to irish students but thats about it...if u google the name ull get a fone no to call them they dont hav email unforch!! apart from that the only other place to stay is in motels or hotels...friends of mine spent the whole summer living in a motel an said it was savage...they just went clubbin an pubbin an to house parties all the time an didn hav to worry bout cleanin up.. hope that helps

I was looking at prices for the montauk motel and they seem to be more than 140 per week per person. Did you get onto them or is that just from the website?
