Heya Lolly,, Im going solo to boston as well,, heading out on monday!!! the best thing to do for accommodation is frat and sorority houses,, they take on people 4 de summer,, and as for jobs, they're only really hiring people who are there so you just have to get one sorted when you get over!!!

Yeah i'm staying in delta theta chi now,, its gr8 craic and you have evrytin u need,, its not all dat clean or fancy at all but that reali doesnt bother me,, for the cost of them they reali are the best way to go!!!

Anyone looking for an extra roomie, please let me know...Also where are the young ppl, all i seem to see here in the Back Bay are Hobos or OAPs... not that theres anything wrong with them of course...;)
Craigslist is definitely the way to go in finding a place - I got a great sublet in Somerville through there. Job-hunting is a different matter though. Can't find any bar jobs over here at all...

Hey John, I'm heading to miami with 2 friends. We're hoping to stay in South Beach which is the biggest party area of miami. Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and the Keys are meant to be good for getting jobs, especially the Keys as it's where all the Americans go for summer in florida, technically it's low seaso in the rest of florida ie miami but I've heard it's not all that slow. I don't really have any info on Chicago yet, but we reckon we're heading up there for a while on the way home.
