    Please could someone give me their opinion/experiences on going to the East or West, heard miami/orlando is relativly cheap compared to caliornia???? I'm bookin my j1 on friday

    i dunno man. i heard its harder to get jobs out west.

    but then there seem to be quite a few people on this forum going that way.

    im stayin east cause ive heard good stories about New Jersey, Boston and NYC. but im opting for South Carolina. heard good stories about it too.

    go to www.j1summer.com and have a look at the guides section. there are guides to just about every option on both east and west. see what u think.

    there are beaches.....big ones! and as for the lake....its not really a lake in the same sense as lakes are over here.....its way bigger than the irish sea for fups sake!!

    Go to the West Coast, generally better weather, less chance of thunder storms and heavy rain and fog. Californian babes are hot :D

    less chance of being surrounded by every dublin knacker and rugger bugger in chicago - while bein hot, sunny, beachs, WARM water and a really friendly city - no hassles with jobs or accom either

    im stayin east lads. and sure them dublin knackers dont go to uni so cant do J1! haha!

    ha! see everyone is certain their way is best. i'm sticking east for defs. ive heard immense stories.

    nowdays with the celtic tiger - and the introduction of "IT's" anyone can go to college.....or something passing itself off as a college!!

    and nothing wrong with rugger loike yoooo know - but dont wanna be surrounded by those d4 wankers!!
