Hey, cant really help on the hotel situation but if your moving to chicago try not to stay in the subarbs, transport via train can be dodgy, we had to walk or cycle to get to a shop. we stayed in oaklawn cause my friend knew someone there. big mistake, i knew people who lived in closer to the city an they had a great time.
