Heading New York for the summer. No jobs lined up, no replys from anyone on craigs list! Starting to wonder if 6 of us are all going to get jobs for the summer in New York. Anyone have any tips please? Also good spots for accomodation would be helpful also- plenty of house parties!!

me and my mates found this place on the net,(havent taken it yet though) its actually savage!!, its in madison avenue and supposedly has a gym and pool and all with it!! its meant to sleep 6 ppl but f**k that if we get a few of us together we could sort sumthin out, theres myself and 4 of my girls headin over on the 1st june! we should meet up and sort sumthin out! :) if you facebook jacki moran we can talk about it!:)

i dont know one of my mates found it who im going with!!! it costs around 1800 a month but if we had say ten in the place that wud be so so cheap!!! and it wud be brill for the location and the facilities like!! so ur going on ur own?? we could meet up sometime i was ment to go to starbucks this morning but i didnt get around to it..

craigslist!!!??? i hope thats not the be all and end all when it comes to work.... what a pile of shite! any1 know any decent sites for work in NY ie. 1s where u get some replys.... will be in queens from may 25th to aug 25th and will need a job to fund my unashamed debauchery for said period!
id say look up irish bars online and just email them your CV... best bet without bein over there ... you arent by any chance lookin for people to share accomodation with to keep rent cheap are ya?
well i have somewhere to stay initially but dunno how long i will be stayin in the place. i can see meself movin in with a few like minded people for cheap rent and the session after a week or 2 id say alright but will have to wait and see what happens for the moment. mainly just tryin to sort meself out with a job, i hear that the work situation in new york isnt exactly overflowin at the moment
