I'm goin to san fran the 2nd of june but I have to be in the city and I can't tie myself down to a lease (wanna go travelling too) so if you can find somewhere that rents per person per month then I'm so in!! If not we'll all party together anyways!!!
Hey... ya found out that Berkley is the place to be... Frat house Sigma Nu so ive heard. rent is cheap and the crack is to be had:D. all i really want is one big piss up no strings attached.. hahahah!! it apparently a 20min train journey outside san fra but like late night trains are there and what not. But apparently its easier to find jobs and all that banter!!!
There are no late night trains to berkeley, and a MUNI pass doesn't cover the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transport). Because I'll be working nights, I have to look in the city, but for most people Berkeley is a great option
i was there last year and had a huge apartment. it was 2 bed and 2 bath. could easily accomodate 6 or 7. 10 at a push...there were a group around the corner who had 10 at one stage. they also have 3 bed apartments too....there will defo be no problem getting apartments there during the summer.. i am going back over for a year on the intern visa and will more than likely be living in the same place again. if anyone wants me to help sort them out with accom before they leave i will gladly help. hit me up a mail at nody@itnet.ie

We reckon San Fran City is the way to go as Berkeley is supposedly a nightmare to commute from if your working in the city! N the city is where the jobs are at..
Im looking out for a biggish apartment/townhouse to squeeze a decent group of us into and get the rent down to an affordable level!! SF is expensive :-(
