   does anybody know if its possible to book a j1 seperate from travel agents?
   
   any prices that I have been quoted are over a grand even though flights that i have priced are only €500max
   
   any help at all?!?

   Not possible mate to do it cheaper alone....visa costa like over 200 € plus all the other fees you have to pay before you pay for flights....so it actually is cheaper to go with travel firm
