I'm planning on heading to Long Island this summer, leaving the end of May and looking for people to share accommodation with! My cousin went two summers ago and said he had the best time, would defo recommend it. It's easy enough to get jobs out there that pay well and tips are great apparently! Think he was working as a golf caddy and did some bar work...anyways, let me know if people are interested, can all share and keep rent down! Hope to hear from ya soon :)

I'm not really sure where exactly to go...I was thinking maybe Long Beach or Atlantic Beach and then I was talking to a friend of mine and she said either South or East Hampton are good places to go. She kinda advised against Montauk! But it's a good few years now since she went so it's probably changed...just said I'd let ya know anyways. Yeh there's supposed to be loadsa jobs out there so fingers crossed we won't have any trouble!! How come you not going til end of June? Am very excited to go now :) Kinda nervous to go alone though!!

Am flying out the 29th May...just paid for everything there yesterday!! I think I prefer the idea of Long Island to New York cuz I've a friend who used to live in NY and said the heat there is pretty unbearable over the summer months! Summer in long Island is gonna be deadly!! just me and one other friend are headin over! thinking of the atlantic beach area as well! i heard you have to pay to get onto a lot of the beaches on long island!
