the agents are providing the sponsor (for me its CIEE, dunno if its the same all over) for your visa which is needed to get the visa. If you can get a company to sponsor your visa then no, you dont need someone like USIT. They are making it much easier as getting a sponsor is not easy, especially for summer work.
