Hey I'm torn between Hawaii and Miami this summer!!! I am dying to have a deadly summer, Ive applied for my J1 visa and so far gona be going on my own. If anyone has any info Id really appreciate it... Need to sort out something asap, I don't know which place would be better? If anyone is going to either place I'd love to hear from you... Thanks :)
hey, there is two of us heading to lahaina on maui on the 7th of june, had friend their two years ago and they had an unreal time. its suppose to be easy enough to get a job of there, and its where all the j1 people go. was lookin up accomadation too it is afforable if there was a good few people going, so we are trying to get as many people to go as possible to share with houses and stuff, sur let me now what ya think, two of us from limerick....
im goin to miami 5 of us all together the clubs ment to be amazing and so does the beach i dno bout jobs but iv heard not that many j1s go there so less competition i spose and also a cheaper flight got my flight for 600 with sayit:)

I think the best would be to team up with around 10 or more people and rent out an amazin apartement, it'd be a lot of fun to be with cool girls and boys for the whole summer and party it up big time. What do you think about that?

Hey Scriobh thats no problem will try to find accomodation somewhere. South beach or Coconut grove would be ideal to stay in heard that North Miami is pretty much dangerous to live in. I am thinking of booking from End of May till August and if i cant get jobs there i would have to relocate to Orlando and work at disneyworld, universal, seaworld, gatorland etc. Miami is my main base so if i can share accomodation with people that would be great!. No im not Irish but have been living in Dublin for nearly ten years! Good fun! :)
I have been to Miami for a holiday and in the peak season it is great. The big events are Spring Break, Memorial day ant the July 4th weekend. I would not mind working out there for my J1 but I am more set on a big city like NY. I am sure you will have fun if you go there though.
