21 year old male goin to Boston on my own on the 7th of June, anybody else in the same boat?? Cant wait but mad nervous!! Havent sorted any accomadation yet and will probly look for job then and there but open to suggestions!

hey conor, i am 22 and going to boston on my own on the 25th of may so pretty much in the same boat as you. trying to srot out accomendation on this site, there are lots of people going to boston so shouldnt be to hard to get in with some people to stay with. check out craigslist.com for jobs but i think you might have the right idea by waiting to get there. i have a contact for work if you are planning on staying into september, the job only goes from august 14th to september 30th. will be looking for other work for the other 10weeks.

Awh man, havent a clue. Got no work lined up yet. Banking on getting bar work then and there at the moment. If I get accomadation sorted soon, I'll be happy!!

Nah I think i'm gonna try travel around the last few weeks I figure, I'd defo be comin home round the 7th of September to be fair so... Did ye have a look at gettin accomadation in a frat house or dye not really fancy it??
some people have been on to frat houses but the last i read they were not getting many replies. I would take any good offer just to have it sorted really, just keep an eye out on this site and look up the boston treads. I am not coming home until october 10th so will be doing my travelling between 31st sept and then. the job i have for september will have me doing a lot of travelling anyway so cool way to see the country. there seems to be a good group heading over to boston anyway so no worries there
There's two of us heading out. We're heading to New York for a week first but then going to Boston for the Summer. I'm staying until the 14th September so I'd be interested in that contact mullthedrummer. What kinda work is it.
